Customer is responsible for all shipping and freight charges, FOB seller’s warehouse. Orders are normally shipped by USPS or UPS, at the preference of Definitive Arms. Orders for in-stock parts and accessories will be shipped within 2-10 business days unless specifically stated otherwise for a particular product. Many items listed will have fixed shipping rates per item, or shipping may be free based on total dollar amount purchased. However bulk orders, reseller wholesale orders, combined orders, and specialty items, including all firearms, may be processed using actual shipping rates to reduce the cost to the customer. Actual shipping rates are calculated based on weight, destination, and shipping service. Your final shipping and handling amount will be provided when you place your order, request a quote for an order, or just prior to shipment of custom built items, service work, or backordered products. If applicable, actual shipping charges may be billed separately at time of shipment for pre-paid products or services.
For shipped firearms, the customer shall have provided a copy of their Driver’s license with its address matching the billing address for their purchase. Gunsmithing services on customer owned firearms shipped to Definitive Arms from the customers address can be shipped back only to that address without the need to ship to an FFL in most states and counties. For new firearms, transfers and restricted locations, the customer must also provide the contact information for an FFL of their choice and Definitive Arms will arrange with that FFL for transfer. NCIS, or equivalent, background check in compliance with local laws is the responsibility of the other FFL.
Definitive Arms will not be responsible for shipping delays caused by any carrier. Definitive Arms cannot control the product handling after it leaves the factory. Therefore, please examine your product carefully at the time of receipt to insure it is undamaged. Retain all the packaging and contact the shipper immediately if damage is found.
